The world needs more entrepreneurs like you! Submitting your business plan to the Queen’s Entrepreneurs’ Competition will be beneficial to you in a number of ways. The prizes, the opportunity to meet other aspiring visionaries, and the constructive criticism you will gain are just a few of the many reasons you should submit your business plan to the QEC25.

  • Prestige: The QEC is Canada’s leading business plan competition. It's run by undergraduate students for undergraduate students. Now in its 25th year, the QEC25 promises to be even bigger and better than ever.
  • Cash: Prizes of $25,000 in start-up capital are up for grabs, with absolutely no strings attached.
  • Exposure: Get the recognition you deserve and promote your business to an international network of entrepreneurs. Some of our judges are also venture capitalists!
  • Feedback: All submitted business proposals will receive valuable feedback and advice from our panel of experienced business professionals, regardless of whether or not they qualify for the final weekend.
  • Networking: Meet fellow entrepreneurs from around the world, and network with industry professionals. The QEC has received submissions from all over the world – Portugal, the UK, South Africa, India, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Singapore, to name a few. Past judges include Tim Wilson (President of Visa Canada), Grant Rasmussen (President and CEO of UBS Bank Canada), and Jason Martin (Founder of Navantis). Past speakers include Linda Haynes (Founder of Ace Bakery), John Poulos (Founder of Dominion Voting), and Clive Beddoe (Founder of Westjet Airlines).
